St. George's Episcopal Church holds morning prayer services in accordance with the practices of the Anglican Communion at 11:00 a.m. on each Sunday of the month, including the Holy Eucharist on a monthly basis. All people of every kind are welcome to join in our fellowship as we continue to engage in Christ's mission of realizing peace and love on earth. We invite you to please join us, just as you are, if ever you feel called to do so. Please click here to read a brief summary of what to expect when visiting an Episcopal Church service. Please click here to view a Liturgical Calendar for the year 2026, with links to the lessons from the Revised Common Lectionary, as modified for use in Episcopal worship. After our morning prayer service, we invite you to join us for some coffee, doughnuts, and fruit, next door in the education building!
In addition to our Episcopal services, we host our partners in ministry, the Luray Friends Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. in our education hall, adjacent to the sanctuary. All are welcome to attend this contemplative, silent meeting for worship.
